Feeling good. After last week I thought my knee might once again take me down, but the last couple of runs have felt great. Today I warmed up for a mile and then kicked up my pace to 8:34 and ran for 8 miles then cooled down for 1.3 miles. If I can get my pace to an 8:30 for the marathon I will be happy happy. At the rate I'm progressng I think that I may even do a little better then that. In 4 weeks I have increased my feel good pace by over a minute and I still have 14 weeks to the race. If I don't over due it, I think I will beat any goal I have yet dreamed of for my first full. "Thank you God for another day." |
