Whoa!!!  Started running at 8:00 am on what I thought was the Loafer Summit Trail.  I took the wrong trail at first and before I figured out I was running to Nephi and not the summit I had already ran more than 2 miles.  I turned around and when I got back to where I started I had a little more than 4 miles down.  This error changed my 12 mile run into a 16+ mile run which I had not planned for.  I headed for the summit and made it to the top.  The last .2 mile stretch was pretty sketchy, I fealt like I needed climbing ropes and someone belaying me.  I got to the summit and wanted a nice picture of the valley and my phone was drained and I did not have enough battery powere left to take a picture.  That's ok, I did sign my name in the book in the mailbox and that was kind of cool.  I made it down and layed in the river for 20 minutes to cool off my muscles which were cramping at this point.  I feel comparable to how I fealt after UVM.  I ran about 80% of the 16 miles, there was some areas were it was just to steep and dangerous to run and I had to hike.  I only took a couple 5 minute breaks, one being at the summit, over the 5 hrs and 23 minutes I was gone.  Slow pace but an extreme workout.  I think I am going to hurt tomorrow.
